Right in the heart of nature, it’s the ultimate place to enjoy numerous outdoor activities. The chalet sits on a vast playground connected to the Sentiers du Moulin outdoor center. Winter enthusiasts can enjoy fat biking, alpine skiing, alpine hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing on many trails near the chalet (private beginner trail just behind the chalet’s wood fence) or a short drive away.
In summer, staying at the HELIOS chalet is just as enjoyable for a weekend or a week! It’s the perfect opportunity to take out your mountain bike or hiking shoes to explore the beautiful nearby trails.
Bike & Sleep Experience: Access a mountain bike / fat bike trail directly from the chalet. The Sentiers du Moulin outdoor center is one of the most beautiful mountain biking destinations in Quebec, offering 60 km of singletrack trails, as well as XC and all-mountain trails for all skill levels.
Please note that the access roads up the mountain are “forest roads,” made of dirt and rocks. While they are maintained year-round, given the mountain climate, please follow local weather recommendations according to the season. Winter: WINTER TIRES REQUIRED.
