This amazing family cottage is located on a huge waterfront property on Hesner Lake, near the town of Bala in beautiful Muskoka. Casa Nostra is situated on 11 wooded acres and boasts 200 feet of lakefront including a sandy beach. Perfect for children and grandparents alike, this lakeside retreat features 3 bedrooms/2 bath plus a full Guest Suite with 1 bedroom.
Enjoy the perfect southwest exposure for sun all day and sensational sunsets. The large level lawn has a jungle gym and the sandy beach with shallow entry is perfect for small children. Explore the lake by the provided canoe or kayak, drop in a fishing line, or just kick back and relax on the dock or hammock under the trees. The kids will love to roast marshmallows over the campfire in the evening.
There is a huge 1500 square foot, two-tiered deck with a large 8-person hot tub! Grill lunch and dinner on the propane barbecue and dine al fresco at the outdoor dining table. Umbrellas provide relief from the summer sun. The deck is complete with Muskoka chairs to sit back, relax and chill.
There is a water filtration system so all water in the cottage for drinking or washing is ideal. The giant pine kitchen is large and fully equipped, including a dishwasher and wine fridge! The kids can grab a quick bite at the breakfast nook before heading out to play! The dining area boasts a large harvest table with an extra bench for even more seating. Off the kitchen and super convenient, there is a laundry room with washer and dryer.
The family room features a granite stone fireplace (wood burning) and comfortable sofas ? with a huge selection of games and puzzles, there's something for everyone in the family to do! The 65 inch Satellite/Smart TV/Blue Ray player with surround sound is perfect for movie night with popcorn!
