Charming ecological house built with straw bales, with a large open space and cathedral ceilings for people who love nature, space and healthy living. The electricity for the house is supplied by solar panels and the house is built with natural materials, which ensures excellent air quality. A compost toilet (odorless) as well as a complete bathroom with shower and a claw-foot tub are key features of the house. In summer, the gardens will charm you. The house can comfortably accommodate 6 people with the master bedroom and its Queen bed, a second closed bedroom with 2 single bunk beds and a futon sofa bed in a corner of the open area that can be closed with curtains for more privacy .
The house is surrounded by large permaculture gardens with more than 50 fruit trees and a hundred fruit shrubs as well as a vegetable garden which make the place spectacular in summer. Chickens and a duck offer you fresh eggs every morning.
Facing south-east, the house is very bright, located at the top of a slope that descends through a wooded area with private access to the beautiful Portneuf River. The panorama, seen through the large windows or from the terrace, changes with the seasons - the tops of all green trees in summer, the colors of fall, the sunrise visible through the kitchen early in the morning in winter.

The eco-house is strictly NO SMOKING inside.
No party or loud music will be tolerated.
Children are allowed with care but note that access to mezzanine is not allowed nor safe, heating is with water radiators and copper pipes as well as out of walls electrical systems. All is safe with some caution. The garden have lovely paths that go around and down to the riverside. There are also rest areas to admire the garden beauty. Children cannot run off trails as this could damage the plants and it is up to parents to ensure this.
