Are you looking for tranquility, but at the same time activities for your family or group of friends? This charming ancestral home is located in Cleveland, in the Eastern Townships. In the countryside, at the end of a private road, with only one neighbour a few hundred metres from the chalet, privacy and tranquillity are the order of the day.
The large in-ground salt pool (18X33) will please you! A private 4-season spa is also available, in addition to being covered and sheltered in case of bad weather.
In the evening, you can gather around a good meal prepared on one of the BBQs, then end the day by a fireplace.
See wild turkeys, deer and foxes, wide varieties of birds, and bluebirds. For the older children, there is a volleyball court, a game of horseshoes, and a pétanque. For children, a sandbox, swings and games are at their disposal. In winter, bring cross-country skis, snowshoes and wild sledding to get some fresh air! Come tubing with the kids!
Please note that the property is equipped with camera surveillance for the exterior. The camera only points to the parking lot.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
In a setting that is both rustic and chic, you’ll appreciate our comfortable, spacious, and warm living room, which can seat groups of friends and family around a large wood-burning fireplace, including a small sitting area with a pull-out sofa. Host and cook in the fully equipped kitchen with 16 seats and a small breakfast counter. Have your morning coffee, enjoy cocktails, or simply read in the tranquility and privacy of the enclosed, soundproofed solarium. This solarium can serve as a small resting area or a bedroom with its comfortable sofa bed. Sleep in quality beds and linens, where no sound (other than the birds) will make you completely disconnect from everyday life. The four other bedrooms are located upstairs.
This rental chalet also offers a large, fully renovated game room, with original beams and wooden planks creating a lovely rustic atmosphere. You’ll find a pool table, darts, and a sound system! The game room, with its lounge ambiance, is our favorite room. It is attached to the house and open year-round thanks to a propane heater for the winter. Originally a barn, it now serves as your entertainment space. This room also has a mezzanine where you’ll find two comfortable mattresses for a restful sleep. (Please note that in winter, sleeping in the mezzanine is not possible.)
