Bordering the superb Lake Aylmer in Disraeli in the Chaudières-Appalaches, this small cottage will meet your expectations in terms of comfort. This chalet can accommodate 6 people and is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
Lake Aylmer is navigable over more than 30 km2 and the fishing is excellent. The lake is teeming with fish of different species, including bass, muskellunge, pike, walleye and many other species. In summer, you can enjoy water activities, cycling, hiking and golf. The municipality also offers the velorail, the Lake Aylmer Cycling Tour and the Concerts under the trees. Bellerive Park is located nearly 4 km from the residence and offers a marina, a boat launch, a hiking trail and a restaurant. In winter, you can practice snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, tubing (Mount Adstock), skating and ice fishing. There are also snowmobile and ATV trails near the property.
If you own a motorboat, you can go to the boat launch located at the Disraeli Marina, a 2-minute drive away which offers gas and food services. It is then possible to moor your boat directly at the cottage dock.
Back at the cottage, indulge in the year-round private spa. Cooler days will suddenly seem much more pleasant, and summer evenings will be all the more magical. A BBQ is at your disposal on the terrace, as is a small dining area where you can enjoy your meals outside. You'll have the chance to end your evenings together by the outdoor fire - wood is even provided free of charge!
