Magnificent rustic and family-friendly chalet on the banks of the Saint-Maurice River
This superb chalet is located directly on the banks of the Saint-Maurice River. Enjoy breathtaking views of the river, cliffs, sunsets, and starry skies—an idyllic setting for happy hours with friends or family. With no nearby neighbors, you'll enjoy complete privacy.
A road-cycling paradise right from the chalet
Enjoy one of Quebec's most beautiful roads, following the Saint-Maurice River, perfect for cycling from Grandes-Piles to La Tuque or to Mauricie National Park.
A garage is available upon request for the secure storage of bicycles.
The chalet can accommodate up to 8 guests when staying as a family with children. The maximum capacity is 6 adults. However, to provide a more comfortable experience and preserve the privacy of the property, we ideally recommend a maximum of 4 adults, as the chalet has 2 bedrooms.
Exceptional outdoor spaces
The chalet features three large terraces, all facing the river, cliffs, and magnificent sunsets and starry skies:
- An outdoor terrace with a relaxation area.
- A terrace with an outdoor lounge area featuring comfortable sofas, a barbecue, and an outdoor dining area. Underneath this terrace, a peaceful zen area with 4 hammock chairs offers the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset.
- A large open terrace with a fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars.
Direct access to the water
A spacious private dock allows you to enjoy swimming and a variety of water activities, including paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, pedal boating, and more. A pedal boat is available on-site for you to enjoy the river. The area is also ideal for fishing.
The dock can also accommodate an additional boat and/or personal watercraft. A public boat launch is located just 2 minutes away at the Grandes-Piles marina.
An ideal location year-round
The chalet is just minutes from Mauricie National Park, the Jacques-Buteau National Trail, as well as numerous hiking trails and amenities. Within 10 km, you'll find a summer theatre and a cycling path.
In winter, direct access to ATV and snowmobile trails makes this a true four-season destination. Cross-country skiing trails are also accessible directly on the river.
Easy access
The proximity to Route 155 provides excellent accessibility in winter, but it may also result in some road noise.
Parking is available for 3 to 4 vehicles.
Located just 30 minutes from Trois-Rivières, 1.5 hours from Quebec City, and 2 hours from Montreal.
