Chalet available for monthly rental only (32+ days)
The chalet is located in the township of Gore, between Saint-Jérôme and Lachute. It only takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to get there from Montreal. It's the perfect distance to completely disconnect from the city while still being able to get there quickly every weekend.
The chalet is located in a private domain and surrounded by forest, making it a very peaceful place. The property is just under two acres, and there are no buildings behind it for several kilometers. There are also nearby trails, making it the ideal place for long forest hikes.
There is also access to a private lake located only a five-minute walk away. The lake has a small sandy beach, and motorized boats are not allowed. You'll be able to swim and fully enjoy the paddleboards included with the chalet rental (life jackets included).
You'll also have the chance to enjoy quiet, super friendly neighbors who are available if needed.
The chalet comes fully equipped (bedding, dishes, small appliances, washer-dryer, etc.). You only need to bring your clothes and food!
The chalet can accommodate up to 6 people. There are two bedrooms: the first has a queen bed, and the second has a queen bed with a double bunk bed. There are also two bathrooms: one with a spacious shower and the other with a bathtub.
On the second floor, a large net lets you relax like in a hammock above the first floor. Kids love it, and adults can also enjoy taking a nap there while overlooking the forest.
There is both an indoor and outdoor fireplace (logs included with the rental). Inside, the fireplace is centrally located, so it can be enjoyed from anywhere in the chalet.
We love our chalet and are looking for people who will enjoy it and take good care of it during our absence. For this reason, we are looking to rent it to a single tenant for the entire period. We are flexible regarding arrival and departure dates.
