The Parc de l'Île Melville site is located right in the heart of the city of Shawinigan in a natural setting. You have access to boat excursions, cycling, hebertism, nature interpretation, aerial forest courses, fishing, an outdoor pool, hiking (15 km), canoeing, rowboats, kayaking, pedal boating, outdoor tennis, mountain biking (15 km), and much more.
Located right next to the Cité de l'Énergie, where you will find a 115-meter (377-foot) observation tower, a multimedia show, and a permanent interactive exhibition, the site is also only 25 minutes from Parc de la Mauricie.
