You’re sure to be enchanted with this charming home perched on a hill in the middle of a forest. Four acres of land around the cottage are delightful for a stroll. Have a seat on the fine deck surrounded by towering trees and you’ll probably catch sight of some of the wildlife inhabiting the area, including various bird species, squirrels and white-tailed deer. The property’s main attraction is a spa just a few steps from the cottage with a magnificent view of the natural scenery. An adjacent building serves as a change room.
Head down an outdoor staircase under the trees and you come to a small private pond. The pond is shared with another cottage (Au sous-bois d’Ulverton). The water is quite cold and its depths quite muddy, therefore not suitable for swimming, but the kids will love to go frog-hunting! Gathered around an evening bonfire, guests will truly enjoy relaxing in the quiet natural surroundings. The quiet sounds of water, a breeze rustling through the leaves and the fresh smell of the woods will soon have you forgetting the pressures of daily life.

The cottage’s large kitchen with lots of windows and a functional wood stove is perfect for preparing suppers for the whole group. The living room also has a wood stove whose warmth is especially appreciated on cold winter days. The spacious bathroom has a large corner bathtub and separate shower. Guests are ensured a comfortable stay at this rustic yet refined property: quality bedding and towels provided, fully equipped kitchen fit for gourmet chefs and foodies, and lots of board games and books. Le Balcon Vert has a maximum occupancy of 10.
