This former general store turned into a tourist residence offers a beautiful intimacy, a contact with nature and holy peace! The house was named after Madame Alain to honor the memory of the valiant woman who operated this store for many years.
From this former fishing village of Anse-au-Griffon, you have easy access to the attractions of the south coast and the north coast of the Gaspé Peninsula, Grande-Rivière to Grande-Vallée, through Percé.
In the heart of Forillon Park, all summer and winter sports are available: cycling, hiking, sailing, scuba diving, skiing, snowshoeing, even dog sledding! Summer and fall also allow you to see whales, seals, bears, moose and other nature surprises. Your living room, the time of your stay, has a panoramic view of the sea, an omnipresent distraction when reading a good book!
In the evening, we have a nice round of fire behind the house. It's like being in the woods, because the forests line the back of the house.
This comfortable house, in the process of being classified by the CITQ, has been in the last years a bed and breakfast classified three suns (CITQ). It has a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, bedding and towels, TV, Wi-Fi and BBQ. The house is non smoking but pets are allowed (maximum two) - there is even a dog den adjoining the house.
