This beautiful cottage for rent overlooks Aylmer Lake in Stratford, on the edge of the Eastern Townships and the Chaudière-Appalachians. There are as many activities at the cottage as in this wonderful area. The property stands out in particular for its large lot allowing everyone to enjoy the outdoors as well as by its small intimate wooded area leading to the water's edge. Access to the lake is via a small footbridge that crosses the wooded area of the land. Lake Aylmer is ideal for all kinds of water activities, such as swimming, fishing and boat trips. Fishing is good, with its many varieties of fish, including bass, walleye, maskinongé, pike and many others. Take advantage of the beautiful dock to enjoy moments of relaxation in the sun or to moor your boat. In the evening, relax in front of a good fireplace or in the 4-season private spa. In winter, bring your ice fishing gear, winter fishing is popular when the ice allows. For sports enthusiasts, Mount Adstock is 30 minutes from the chalet, where you can go skiing or tube-sliding. This mountain also offers several snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. From the chalet, you will also have direct access to the local snowmobile trails.
