Admire the flamboyant sunsets and enjoy a multitude of activities during the four seasons, in our beautiful village of Lotbinière. Access to the shore and the free boat launch just 30 seconds from the chalet will certainly delight boaters and nature lovers.
This cozy chalet is simply perfect to ensure you get away from everyday life.
Enjoy a magnificent partial view of the river from the spacious terrace to admire the passing ships. You will feel at home in this intimate neighborhood bordered by the river. You will appreciate the proximity of access to the river and, in particular, the magnificent sunsets and the beautiful shore for taking long walks. To access the River from the chalet, head right into the alley. Before the coast, turn on your left and you will see the concrete boat ramp leading to the River.
Swimming is also possible and safe at low tide!
It is important to follow the tides so that you can easily access the river when they are low. Visit tides.gc. ca (indicate the town Grondines in the search) in order to know when the tide is low and that is when you should plan your walks or rests by the river.
The chalet has 2 very comfortable bedrooms, which can accommodate 1 to 8 people (Ideally for 2 to 4 adults with or without children)
The 1st bedroom has two Queen beds with door. The 2nd bedroom, an intimate mezzanine type without door, has 1 Queen bed and 2 single beds that can be converted into Queen beds if necessary.
From the chalet, you will have a PARTIAL view of the River allowing you to admire the boats and the sunset.
The three-sided interior fireplace will delight you in winter and the exterior one just as much in summer as in winter. Logs are provided (bring your kindling and paper).
Our accommodation has everything you need for your stay; complete bedding, pillows, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths, fondue dish, filter coffee maker, tassimo and kuerig coffee maker as well as everything needed for cooking. (please bring your beach towels and do not use bath towels on shore.)
Karaoke, a Pac-Man arcade, board games, a Sega game console, a smart television and a second television upstairs with a host of DVDs for children will enhance your stay.
A large garage to which we give you access in summer, spring and autumn will also allow you to play ping-pong, darts and table football and benefit from an additional space with a view of the river for your entertainment.
Hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and quad trails are nearby. Visit the vegetable market on summer Saturdays, the bakery 5 minutes away and the portage mill during your stay. Consult our Guide on this page for all the details of activities offered in the sector.
In winter, a 4-WHEEL DRIVE vehicle is necessary to easily descend and climb the cliff that leads to the chalet. It is also possible to park your car at the top of the hill near the garbage containers and access them on foot in just a few minutes (bring your sled to facilitate the transport of your equipment.
